How to find us
Our Highgate Wood site
There are 3 ways to get to our Highgate Wood site.
1 - Highgate Close (South Entrance), you can reach us here via the link to google maps or by travelling to PR2 8LP. This will bring you to a residential road and you should be able to park on the right. The wood is in front of you and as you enter we are on the right. This entrance is buggy friendly.
2 - Foregate (North Entrance), as you enter Foregate , the entrance is 200m on the right, you can park here and follow the footpath down through the wood to the bridge over the stream. we are on the left. This entrance is buggy friendly
3. Garstang Road (West Entrance), this entrance is opposite Bonds Hair Salon. You can park on the side of Garstang Road and enter via the small pedestrian gate on the left of the 5 bar gate. The path will take you down a set of steps to the pond, take a right onto the decking and follow this path till you get to the far end of the wood. you will reach a point where 2 paths cross and we will be in front of you.

I acknowledge that outdoor activities including those provided by the Woodland School Ltd contain an element of risk. I agree to follow and abide by all safety instruction provided. This agreement releases The Woodland School Ltd from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during any of the activities provided. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold The Woodland School Ltd entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.
I hereby assume all of the risks of participating in any/all of the activities provided by the Woodland School Ltd, including by way of example and not limitation, any risks that may arise from negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons or entities being released, from dangerous or defective equipment or property owned, maintained, or controlled by them, or because of their possible liability without fault.
I am not aware of any injury, illness or other health-related issues that would restrict or limit my child’s or my own ability to participate in the activities.
I acknowledge that this activity may involve the potential for injury or property loss. The risks include, but are not limited to, those caused by facilities, temperature, weather, condition of participants, equipment, and actions of other people including, but not limited to, participants, volunteers and/or producers of the activity. These risks are not only inherent to participants but are also present for visitors.
I certify that I have read this document and I fully understand its content. I am aware that this is a release of liability and a contract.
